How to reach us
Fattoria Pagnana can be found in the heart of Chianti, a vast area between Florence and Siena which offers breathtaking landscapes and in which is produced the homonym wine, famous all over the world. A succession of gentle hills where villages arise and time seems to have stopped, panoramas and suggestive views that have made this area famous.
Our structure is easily reached by various forms of transport. It can be found at only 15 km south-east of Florence, not far from the Autostrada A1 exit of Firenze Sud, for whoever arrives from the north, and Incisa-Reggello for who instead arrives from the south.
HOW TO GET HERE
By Car
Arriving from the north and from the airports of Florence and Pisa one should leave the autostrada A1 Firenze - Roma at the exit of Firenze Sud. After the toll gates continue for 3 km, then take the exit Bagno a Ripoli - S.P.34 Pontassieve and continue along this road for roughly 12 km turning right at the junction for Rosano - Rignano sull'Arno following the SP 90 road. Follow the signs for Rignano sull'Arno and after roughly 9 km you will find the entrance to Fattoria Pagnana on your left.
Arriving from the south and the airport of Rome, the exit to take is that of Incisa - Reggello. After the toll gates turn right and take the SS 69 / SR 69 road in the direction of Pontassieve. After roughly 9 km at San Clemente, turn left for Rignano sull'Arno passing though the town and continue climbing following the SP 18 road. After roughly 2 km you will find the entrance to Fattoria Pagnana on your right.
HOW TO GET HERE
By Train or by Bus
The closest principal railway station is that of Firenze Santa Maria Novella, on the main line between Milan and Rome. The recommended trains to take are the high speed Frecciarossa operated by Ferrovie dello Stato or the high speed trains of Italo.
The closest local stations to Fattoria Pagnana are Rignano sull'Arno and Pontassieve but neither are within walking distance. In any case, we strongly recommend that guests have a car. There are hire car offices very close to the station of Firenze Santa Maria Novella.
An alternative could be the autobus service. The autobus station is just outside of the Florence station and the 350 line has a stop very close to the main entrance of Fattoria Pagnana. Tell the driver where you want to go and they will indicate when to get off.

By Plane
The nearest airports are Florence and Pisa. The Airport Amerigo Vespucci di Firenze Peretola is a little over 40 km from Fattoria Pagnana and travel time is about 45 minutes. The Airport Galileo Galilei di Pisa is instead 100 km away and travel time is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Who instead arrives from the airports of Roma Fiumicino (International Airport Leonardo da Vinci) and Roma Ciampino can reach us following a car journey of 2 hours and 45 minutes or by train using the high speed service.
